Experience South Tyrol in its flavors

a few suggestions

for your palate

The Alto Adige/South Tyrol Cuisine is well known for its typical farmers’ products, like "Speck" - the typical smoked bacon - and "Apfelstrudel". Particularly appreciated are the pancakes with raisins and cranberry jam called “Kaiserschmarren” , the ravioli with spinach filling called “crafuncins”, the bread dumplings and “Späzle”. Many kinds of white and rye bread and a wide variety of excellent internationally renowned red and white wines such as “Gewürztraminer” and “Lagrein” can be found in our local stores. The high quality of locally produced dairy products and cured meat is certified by the Alto Adige/South Tyrol brand name.
